divh2Administrative Assistant - Mining/Underground Operations/h2pBe part of the nations only repository for the disposal of nuclear waste known as Transuranic (TRU) waste. Salado Isolation Mining Contractors, LLC (SIMCO), managing and operating contractor of the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) is currently seeking a qualified individual to serve as an Administrative Assistant and join our team located in Carlsbad, New Mexico./ph3Responsibilities/h3pThe successful candidates will support the Mining/Underground Operations Department. They will perform routine administrative duties including, but not limited to: assisting in the development and publishing of departmental correspondence/documents, proofing and developing internal and external presentations, serving as the departmental Training Coordinator, making travel arrangements, scheduling meetings, processing expense authorizations and reimbursements, serve as the Records Coordinator for the organization, and all other duties as assigned. Responsible for coordinating the Required Reading Program. The position requires ability to interact professionally with multiple levels of management and employees. Must exercise good judgement, discretion, and professionalism in all matters./ph3Minimum Requirements/h3pThese requirements must be met to be considered for this posting.
