Mead & Hunt, an award-winning national architecture and engineering firm, has continued to exceed our strategic growth initiatives creating opportunity for our current and prospective team members. As a result, a full-time position is available for an Architectural Designer at our Dallas, TX office.

Responsibilities include:

• Producing architectural schematic, design development, and construction documents using CAD software
• Producing architectural construction documents
• Space program development
• Preliminary design data collection
• Periodic construction observation
• Coordinating with multi-disciplinary in-house team members and sub-consultants
• Assisting the project architect in the preparation of presentation materials
• Attending client meeting and public meetings in support of project manager
• Working closely with clients and contractor/developer design/build partners
• Other duties as assigned.

A valid driver’s license and occasional travel may be required.

The successful candidate must have a bachelor's degree (or higher) in Architecture from an accredited college or university.

The ideal candidate will have any or all the following:

• Previous architectural internship experience
• Ability or desire to pursue licensure is preferred
• Experience designing and documenting projects in Revit or SketchUp
• Experience developing project deliverables from pre-design to closeout.
