Job Title: Assistant Deputy General Counsel

Reports To: Deputy General Counsel / General Counsel

Position Summary

Homer City Redevelopment is seeking a skilled and motivated legal professional to join our team as Assistant Deputy General Counsel. This role is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment at the intersection of infrastructure, energy, and redevelopment projects.

The Assistant Deputy General Counsel will provide legal support across all departments, with a focus on reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements, including NDAs, confidentiality agreements, terms and conditions, and other business-related contracts. This position will also support the General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel in managing business disputes, litigation, and regulatory matters.

This is a full-time, on-site position located at our headquarters in Blairsville, PA.

Key Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of legal experience, preferably in a corporate, in-house, or business law environment
• Experience in drafting and negotiating a variety of contracts
• Experience in the energy, infrastructure, or redevelopment industry is preferred but not required
• Demonstrated sound legal judgment in complex or ambiguous situations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to cross-functional teams
• Licensed attorney in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
