Job Description
We are looking for a candidate who has a strong work ethic to join our dedicated and fast-growing team as a CAD Programmer.
Job Responsibilities
Program Setup: Program jobs for Saw, CNC, and Waterjet machinery to ensure high-quality and precise finished products.
Production Management: Maintain a steady, efficient workflow , managing multiple jobs simultaneously and ensuring all projects are delivered on schedule .
Documentation & Verification: Review all paperwork and digital files to confirm accuracy and completeness within the job tracking system .
File Preparation: Verify the availability and correctness of all files required to properly program each job.
Design Fit & Accuracy: Ensure countertops fit on slabs , sinks align with cabinets , and seams are properly located for optimal results.
Sink Cutouts: Develop and verify sink cutout files as required for each project.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Customer Service Department to obtain necessary information or confirm project details.
Tool Maintenance: Maintain all tools in proper working condition, including adjustments, dressing, and speed calibration .
Technical Growth: Stay current with advancements in tool technology and best programming practices.
Teamwork & Integrity: Contribute positively as a team player , demonstrating integrity, professionalism, and commitment to quality service in all work performed.
Job Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent education is preferred .
Experience:
2–3 years of CAD programming experience preferred; prior experience working with stone fabrication is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Strong computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new software and system components.
Working knowledge of CNC techniques and processes used in the manufacturing industry .
Licenses & Certifications:
Must possess a clean, valid driver’s license .
Forklift operator certification is a plus.
Work Competencies:
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in all programming and operational tasks.
