???? Now Hiring: CAD Designer - Civil Engineering Projects (ND)
Location Options: Dickinson, Williston, or Fargo, North Dakota
W3Global Client is seeking a talented CAD Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and cross-functional teams to design and support a wide range of civil engineering projects -including large-scale land development, infrastructure, transportation, and municipal utilities.
We're looking for a driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, self-directed environment and is eager to grow into a larger role within our firm.
What You'll Do:Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD drawings based on project requirements.
Collaborate with engineers and project team members to ensure design accuracy.
Prepare and review layouts, drawings, and blueprints .
Update and maintain design documentation and records.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations .
Provide input during project meetings and contribute to design solutions.
Assist in troubleshooting design issues and recommending improvements.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D ; familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar CAD software .
4+ years of CAD design experience in civil engineering (or equivalent educational experience).
Strong understanding of design principles and engineering fundamentals.
Excellent attention to detail , problem-solving skills, and multitasking ability.
A growth mindset and eagerness to learn in a collaborative, fast-moving environment .
Extended periods of desk/computer work.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
Comfort with physical activity such as squatting, bending, or lifting when setting up project activities.
