Position Description and responsibilities:

• The preferred candidate should have a solid career background in 3D modeling while working with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks modelling platforms and demonstrate the ability to work in a professional team environment. Upon selection, the candidate will support various ongoing projects to gain familiarization with the ES programs and processes. Longer term, the individual will help the organization develop "Best Practices" guidelines for Project modelling efforts and BIM integration into project processes.

• Responsibilities may include, but not be limited to Drafting and CAD Modelling support required for the following project departments:
  • Reactor Vessel (RV) / Reactor Vessel Internal (RVI) cutting and packaging plans (CPPs)
  \n
  • Final Status Survey (FSS) / License Termination Plan (LTP) survey maps
  \n
  • Plant Operating system drawing configuration control.
  \n
  • D&D Cold & Dark power installations (electrical one-line drawings)
  \n
  • Engineering design changes
  \n
  • Building isolation detailing for Work Control
  \n
  • Management Awareness postings/Notices/Goals, etc.
  \n
  • Configuration Control
  \n

• The preferred candidate should have the skillset to manage subcontracted drafting/modeling efforts, including the development of standards and criteria for ES and outside organizations to use including:
  • Standards for file sharing and integration into the project BIM
  \n
  • Management and organization of BIM data within ES
  \n
  • Determination of the level of training required for multidisciplinary personnel on a project to successfully utilize the BIM using Navisworks or other viewing tools.
  \n

Position minimum requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' active 3D modelling experience demonstrating a range of assignments.
\n
• Proficient with the use of AutoCAD or SolidWorks (other system experience may be considered).
\n
• Require a multi-disciplinary knowledge of modelling usage and have the ability to interact and work with multi-disciplinary work groups.
\n
• Be able to develop and maintain project schedules.
\n
• Work with minimum supervision.
\n
