Join the Gorman Trucking team as a Professional Quad Axle Dump Truck Driver ! The operator must inspect the vehicle daily, log activity, mileage, and fuel, and keep the vehicle clean. The operator must prioritize safety and obey traffic laws. You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 76,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a dump truck
- Ensure materials are loaded correctly onto the dump truck.
- Properly track and document activity log
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Inspect truck before and after trip
- Adhere to all safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
- Travel within 150 mile radius
- Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience in truck driving or other related fields
- Required Valid CDL Class B unrestricted
- Valid CDL Class A, a plus
- Good Driving recorded
- Must be pass background check & drug test
- Working knowledge of construction site safety, truck maintenance, and road safety regulations
- Strong work ethic
