Hospice Aide (CNA) Job Announcement – Everlight Hospice LLC

Location: Serving patients in Portland Metro area and Salem Oregon

Employment Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN

Pay Range: Starting at $23.00/hr

Position Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including long-term care facilities and home community care. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining a safe environment for all individuals.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with activities of daily living including: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility

- Support safe transfers and positioning for comfort

- Offer emotional support and presence to patients and their loved ones

- Accurately observe and report changes in the patient's condition to the RN Case Manager

- Maintain timely and thorough documentation according to policy and regulation

- Respect and always protect patient rights and confidentiality

Qualifications

- Active CNA license in the state of Oregon

- Successful completion of a CNA training program that meets Medicare standards (42 CFR 418.76)

- Current CPR certification

- Experience in Hospice care, home health, or long-term care

- Compassionate, reliable, and skilled in communication and interpersonal care

- Valid driver's license, insured vehicle, and willingness to travel within the service area
