We are seeking a Project Accountant to support the accounting and operations team. This role is newly created due to growth, with multiple development projects planned for 2025, and reports to the Development Director. Responsibilities Set up projects in Yardi Construction Manager system Maintain project files, including budgets Reconcile project costs with the general ledger and perform financial analysis Prepare and review client invoices reflecting contract billing terms Perform collections on billable projects and provide other accounting support as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field 3-5 years of post-graduate experience Experience in project accounting, budgeting, and billing in commercial, industrial, or multifamily industries Strong understanding of GAAP Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Experience with Yardi is a plus Meet Your Recruiter Kyle Sakata Manager, Executive Search Kyle has over 20 years of experience recruiting accounting and finance talent in Southern California.
