What You’ll Do
- Assist lead carpenters and crews in the construction of decks, patio covers, and outdoor structures
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Use power tools and hand tools (with training)
- Clean and prep job sites before and after builds
- Follow safety guidelines and wear PPE
What We’re Looking For

- Physically able to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in all weather
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Construction experience is a plus, but not required

Starting Pay: $24 – $28/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (occasional Fridays)
Compensation: $49,800 - $58,240 yearly
Responsibilities: Material Handling & Site Prep
Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment at job sites to ensure efficient workflow and safety.
Demolition & Jobsite Clearing
Assist with demolition of existing structures and remove debris as needed to prepare job sites for new construction.
Digging & Physical Labor
Dig post holes and trenches, carry heavy materials, and support the team in physically demanding tasks across varied terrain and weather.
Jobsite Cleanup & Safety Support
Maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment by sweeping, hauling away waste, and adhering to safety protocols.
Hands-On Learning & Skill Development
Work under the guidance of lead carpenters to learn basic framing, measuring, and tool usage—building a pathway toward becoming a skilled carpenter.
Qualifications: - Understand some basic skills and construction methods and know how to use some construction tools and equipment
- Must have graduated high school or has GED
- Able to work outdoors for long periods of time, and be able to climb ladders and stairs
- Carry a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- History of professionalism, being a team player, adhering to project schedules, regular attendance at work, and a strong work ethic
