CoWorx Staffing Services is now hiring a Distribution Coordinator in Saco, ME! The Distribution Coordinator oversees and coordinates daily operations within the distribution facility to ensure efficient movement of goods, accurate order fulfillment, and compliance with safety and quality standards. This role works closely with Sales, Transportation, Customer Service, and other departments to maintain inventory flow and meet customer delivery expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Review bills of lading for incoming and outgoing shipments; plan and prioritize daily activities accordingly.
• Assign and monitor work duties such as receiving, storing, and assembling customer orders for delivery.
• Load and unload trucks, pick and sort products as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility while following safety and food safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with internal teams and external partners.
• Report and support safety, food safety, and site security initiatives; recommend and implement improvements when necessary.
• Collaborate daily with Sales, Customer Service, Planning, and Transportation to address order adjustments, credits, and other operational issues.
• Print and verify customer orders for pick-up (CPU) or shipment to BIN locations.
• Manage reclamation of damaged merchandise and ensure accurate tracking.
• Assist in tracking and reporting team productivity and operational metrics.
• Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, logs, and databases as required.
• Serve as backup for Site Leader, Coordinator, or Senior Coordinator when needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely records for timekeeping, inventory, expenses, and compliance documentation.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience in a warehouse, distribution, or depot environment.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Excel, data entry, etc.).
• Frequent sitting, reaching, handling, and talking/hearing required.
• Occasional standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 25 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

Other Information:

• Location: Saco, ME
• Shift: 1st (5:00 AM – 1:30 PM)
• Pay Rate: $23.75/hour
