Application Instructions Job Summary: McNamara Contracting, a McNamara Company, is seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The primary function of the Dump Truck Driver is to operate a quint axel dump truck, hauling asphalt, aggregates and millings to and from asphalt plants, gravel pits and construction sites. This role is to start in our 2026 season, this is a union position.
Position Description Position Description: - Coordinate with dispatch on trips for the day and adhere to assigned deliveries
- Create and maintain a safe work zone during each job loading and unloading
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Work with site leads and project laborers and operators
- Submit and track all required paperwork and turn in any applicable receipts
- Must be able to read and correctly use maps/GPS routes to navigate to job sites
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Follow all road restrictions and rules
Position Requirements Requirements: - High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- CDL Class A with a clean MVR and health card.
- Must obtain or be willing to obtain a tanker endorsement.
- Ability to work collectively as a team and independently.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
Additional Information: - This position does not require over the road travel or overnight work
- This position requires long working days and weekend work, averaging 60-80 hours/ week.
- This position is seasonal approximately May - November each year.
- This truck has an automatic transmission
- Exposure to outdoor work environments under varying conditions.
- Ability to work in high-paced, dynamic surroundings and swift decision-making.
- Frequent travel between job sites.

Pay: $41.01/hour - based on union scale
