A highly regarded law firm in Newport Beach, CA, is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join its team. This role focuses on working closely with clients to design and finalize estate plans while overseeing a team of skilled paralegals and client service associates. Location:

• Newport Beach, CA

Duties:

• Meet with clients to design estate plans, review drafts, and finalize plans.
• Oversee and manage a team of paralegals and client services associates.
• Mentor junior team members, providing training and professional development.
• Provide backup support to the probate and trust administration team when necessary.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in estate planning.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
• Willingness to work full-time, in-person at the Newport Beach office (part-time hours considered for candidates with caregiver responsibilities or unique circumstances).

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 law school.

Certifications:

• Active and good-standing membership with the California State Bar.

Skills:

• Expertise in estate planning, including wills, trusts, and asset protection strategies.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent client communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in legal technology and estate planning software (e.g., WealthCounsel).
