About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Economic Development Corporation. The successful candidate will be a collaborative and results-oriented leader with a strong background in economic development and business retention strategies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the local economy, including the oil and gas sector, and experience in advanced manufacturing and high-tech industries. The Executive Director will be expected to have a strong local government background, particularly in economic development, and to demonstrate a collaborative leadership style, strong communication skills, and the ability to inspire trust among stakeholders. The role also requires the candidate to be knowledgeable in business retention, expansion, redevelopment, and workforce development initiatives.
