Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for financial insights and operational excellence? A dynamic and innovative national financial services firm headquartered in the Portland Metro area is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join its high-performing Finance team.

This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of a fast-growing organization. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to deliver meaningful analysis, actionable recommendations, and forward-looking financial guidance.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes with precision and strategic alignment.
• Provide deep financial analysis and scenario modeling to support corporate and departmental decision-making.
• Assist with and eventually lead Treasury and Capital Markets functions, supporting ABS transactions and credit facilities.
• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate funding strategies and optimize capital structure.
• Collaborate with business leaders to translate operational metrics into financial performance insights.
• Develop and refine KPIs and reporting tools to enhance visibility and accountability.
• Prepare executive-level presentations for the Board of Directors and investors.
• Support capital planning, funding strategies, and portfolio performance analysis.
• Ensure FP&A processes are efficient, scalable, and compliant.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking.
• Experience in financial services or equipment finance is a strong plus.
• Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) experience is a plus.
• Strong presentation and communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• High integrity, professional maturity, and business acumen.
