Job Title: Enterprise Citrix Admin Location : Coralville, IA Client : State of IA Duration: Long Term Job Description: This position participates in the support of Citrix technologies at an enterprise level. In this role, they will be primarily responsible for maintaining and monitoring Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Application Delivery Controller (ADC), Citrix Cloud technologies and Dell Hardware. This individual will need to resolve incidents and outage situations that may impact the services for institution in a timely manner and give detailed updates during prolonged events.

• Support Citrix Technologies including Virtual apps and desktops, Application Delivery Controller (ADC), Citrix Cloud/Hybrid Cloud infrastructure.
• Support Microsoft Hyper-V environment, including Virtual Machine Manager (VMM).
• Monitor systems with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM).
• Manage and configure Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
• Maintain enterprise-class Windows servers and all related processes, security policies and virus protection, tuning, capacity planning, and monitoring of all resources to ensure high availability of all services provided.
• Follow ITIL and change management processes within the division.
• Write install, setup and procedure documentation for peers and staff.
• Write and document test plans for system upgrades and maintenance.
• Monitor capacity, performance, and licensing utilization
• Troubleshoot and provide problem resolution for complex server issues including hardware and software of systems.
• Consults with vendor technical experts to determine architecture, topology, and project requirements.

Ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Experience working in a Health Care IT Environment
• Experience working with Citrix Provisioning Server (PVS)
• Experience working with Citrix NetScaler (ADC)
• Experience working with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops on premises
• Experience working with Citrix Cloud hosted technologies
• Experience working with hypervisor technologies including Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware
• Experience working with Dell Hardware, using OpenManage to monitor and manage firmware and drivers
• Proficient in programming with a scripting language such as PowerShell
• Microsoft SCOM experience for monitoring of servers
• Multi-Factor authentication (MFA) solutions such as Duo
• Understanding of networking technologies and use of network capture troubleshooting tools.
• Familiar with server hardening methodologies and practical implementation experience.
• Knowledge of Hybrid, Cloud, and Multi-cloud strategies and governance
