Office Administrator / Executive Assistant
Location: Wall, NJ
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (In-Office Only)
Compensation: $42,000–$50,000 per year (based on experience)

Company Overview:
Solar X is a fast-growing solar, electrical, and roofing company based in Wall, NJ, with over 15 years of experience in the home improvement and sustainable energy space. We’re seeking a motivated and reliable Office Administrator to support our ownership team and help manage day-to-day office operations.

This is a full-time, in-office role with no remote work currently available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct administrative support to company ownership 

• Manage and maintain scheduling, calendars, and follow-ups for field teams

• Assist with customer communications via phone, email, and in person

• Organize office operations, digital files, and company records

• Coordinate internal and external meetings, prepare documents, and take notes

• Maintain and update contact lists for customers, vendors, and partners

• Handle inbound service inquiries and assist with job tracking systems

• Support permit, inspection, and project documentation workflows

• Assist with billing, follow-ups, and document submissions when needed

• Keep up-to-date with relevant solar, roofing, and electrical industry knowledge

• Maintain a clean, professional, and organized office environment

• Assit with marketing and events 

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience in solar, roofing, electrical, or home improvement industry (preferred, but not required) 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• High attention to detail and organizational abilities

• Experience with tools like Google Workspace, Excel, CRMs, or scheduling software

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment

• Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn

• Excellent customer service experience
