Pharmacy Manager – Louisville, KY

Pay: $135,000 – $155,000 per year

Full time, onsite, Mon-Fri

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to join a growing organization dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in the field of IV nutrition and sterile compounding!!

The Pharmacy Manager will be a licensed pharmacist and will:

• Oversee all pharmacy operations, supervising pharmacy technicians and warehouse personnel.
• Monitor sterile compounding, technician, and shipping schedules to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain quality assurance standards for sterile compounding, reporting relevant data to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with established procedures concerning controlled substances, hazardous waste disposal, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage inventory of supplies and materials to support continuous operations.
• Coordinate daily sterile compounding and distribution activities.
• Serve as the Designated Person for sterile drug compounding, in collaboration with the Lead Pharmacy Technician.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Directly supervise pharmacy technicians and other operational personnel.
• Lead regular operations meetings and ensure efficiency, accuracy, productivity, and professionalism.
• Carry out responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies, state pharmacy board regulations, and employment laws.
• Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating performance, and managing staff development.

Education and Experience:

• PharmD or equivalent, or 4–10 years of related experience/training.
• Minimum of three years of hospital pharmacy or clinical pharmacy residency experience.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

• Current Pharmacist License with the applicable State Board of Pharmacy .
• Compliance with all continuing education requirements.
