About the Chanda Center for Health The Chanda Center for Health is a non-profit clinic that helps people with physical disabilities live healthier lives. We offer services like massage, acupuncture, and chiropractic care to improve health outcomes and lower medical costs.

We work with people who have conditions such as spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, and spina bifida. Chanda Center for Health is partnering with Covell Care Rehabilitation to provide Physical Therapy services to our participants at our clinic. Covell Care and Rehabilitation is a  one-of-a-kind mobile outpatient practice  offering physical, occupational, and speech therapy.

We are looking to add a physical therapist (PT) and/or physical therapy assistant (PTA) to work at the Center in Lakewood, CO. This is a great opportunity for a therapist assistant looking to manage their caseload and work with a unique group that offers various development opportunities, while putting the patient first.

Job Purpose To complete therapy with patients by following the plan of care established, following all recommendations, and staying in compliance with federal, state, and practice rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide communication with the Covell Care & Chanda Center staff as needed
• Communicate about availability in covering patients when asked
• Attend therapy treatment sessions on time
• Provide therapy to patients in ethical, appropriate provisions adhering to practice & privacy standards
• Maintain assistant certification standards
• Communicate & collaborate with the supervising therapist regularly about all patients
• Complete therapy documentation within 24-48 hrs of treatment
• Maintain all requested HR documents
• Other duties may be required

Pay Structure:  

• Physical Therapists come on as independent contractors and are paid a percentage of insurance reimbursement. 1099s are paid on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month. Further information will be discussed during the initial phone call.
• Therapy assistants come on as employees and are paid per unit billed. W-2s are paid on the 1st and 15th of each month. Additional benefits include mileage reimbursement and a Simple IRA matching program.
