Job Description
Salary: $64,000 - 105,000 per year Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or 4 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience as a PLC Programmer, ideally in an industrial environment
- Proficient with PLC programming software such as Schneider Electric, Allen-Bradley, Siemens
- Familiarity with HMI design and development tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Capacity to collaborate within a team and liaise with different departments
- Understanding of industrial processes, machinery, and control systems
- Willingness to travel to various project locations as required
- Must comply with all safety regulations and workplace rules
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities: - Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems using various programming languages like Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Function Block
- Design, create, and maintain Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems in conjunction with PLC operations
- Collaborate with automation engineers to design and implement effective control systems
- Diagnose and rectify issues in PLC and HMI software to optimize system performance
- Sustain and modify existing systems while providing post-implementation support
- Interpret control system and HMI specifications and plans
- Ensure all automated systems adhere to industry safety standards
- Work alongside team members and other departments on project development initiatives
- Document and update PLC and HMI program revisions
- Train and assist technical personnel and operators on system usage and troubleshooting techniques
