Candidates should be highly motivated doctoral graduates of APA-accredited counseling or clinical psychology programs who have completed an APA-accredited doctoral internship. Premier Sport Psychology seeks applicants with demonstrated experience serving individuals from diverse backgrounds and strong skills in counseling, intake assessment, documentation, and treatment planning. Applicants with experience or interest in working directly with teams, coaches, parents, and support staff—especially within youth and collegiate athletics—are strongly encouraged to apply.

  • Commitment to culturally responsive practice across diverse populations
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and professional
  • Completion of dissertation prior to start date
  • Adherence to APA ethics and Minnesota Board of Psychology guidelines
  • Strong skills in timely and high-quality documentation practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CMPC certification (or eligibility) through AASP
  • Experience working with athletes of all ages and sports
  • Public speaking and workshop facilitation experience
  • Training in performance or mental skills development
  • Specific training in substance use, pediatric anxiety, eating disorders, trauma and/or other evidence-based therapies for self-harm

  • Competitive salary, commensurate with education and experience
  • 401(k) with employer match (after one year)
  • Health, long-term disability and professional liability insurance coverage
  • Health savings account
