Job DescriptionJob Description Position Overview: This position will lead a team of CIS Student Support Specialists to ensure the quality implementation of the CIS model and work towards meeting school site benchmarks at assigned Communities In Schools Services Group, LLC (CISSG) locations. They are responsible for the supervision, direction and management of all day-to-day operations, including administering and tracking budgets, at those locations. They will be in charge of building relationships and partnerships with the communities, schools, principals and staff, and funders with guidance and support of the CIS Model Services State Director. Candidate should preferably reside in or near Cabarrus or Cumberland County, NC. Essential Functions: With the State Director of CIS Model Services, guide strategy for supporting CIS student support specialists and students across CIS Model Services. Coordinates the implementation of the CISNC Annual Plan as it pertains to CIS Model services. Recruit, supervise, and support team of Student Support Specialists. Onboard and train new Student Support Specialists, ensuring successful completion of 30-60-90-day plan. Using the CISNC Fidelity Rubric, provide direction, coaching and support to staff to deliver high quality CIS model programming. Coordinate successful implementation of the CIS Model and Student Support Standards. Support Lead Student Support Specialists to conduct reviews of data ensuring program effectiveness, consistent delivery of services, and achievement of expected student program outcomes. Develop strong partnerships with school and district leaders where services are being delivered. Responsible for managing relationships in the assigned communities. Where applicable, serve as the principal resource to the Advisory Board and key committees, communicating regularly and openly with stakeholders. Support student support specialists as they collaborate with school staff to access, identify and prioritize student needs. Develop strategic and diverse community partnerships designed to identify resources to enhance the services provided to CISNC students as needed. Supervise the overall case management of identified students and delivery of evidence-based interventions and supports, based on student and school needs. Manage, where applicable, and participate in event planning and the implementation of local fundraising plans to secure adequate funding. Coordinate and manage deliverables for all grants/funding. Participate in personal and professional development, including all Program Director calls and retreats, and other trainings as identified by the State Director. Perform other duties necessary for the successful operation of programs as assigned. Ability to see, hear, speak to a variety of audiences, and travel across the State of North Carolina, as needed. Expected travel an average of 50%. Must be able to lift 20 lbs. Necessary Skills: Strong leadership skills including managing interpersonal relationships and team cohesiveness. Master of Arts in education, social services or related field is strongly 2+ years of applicable work experience in the education field 3+ year of management experience Sensitivity to and strong concern for the needs of children, youth and their families Prior experience in working with diverse communities Experience in not-for-profit management Valid driver’s license and insurance Technologically proficient in all office technology systems including developing spread sheets, word processing, email/calendar, conferencing/webinar platforms.
