Overview

CTG is seeking to fill a Red Hat Architect opening for our client in Dallas, TX.

Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 2 months

Duties:

  • Design and architect Red Hat OpenShift–based solutions to meet business requirements.

  • Configure and manage OpenShift clusters, storage solutions, networking, and databases.

  • Deploy and manage OpenShift resources such as projects, namespaces, and services.

  • Monitor OpenShift environments, troubleshoot issues, and ensure HA/DR configurations.

  • Implement and enforce security measures for compliance with organizational and industry standards.

  • Optimize costs by right-sizing resources, monitoring usage, and developing cost-effective solutions.

  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate and deploy OpenShift-based solutions.

  • Support cloud migration projects, including assessment, design, and execution.

Skills:

  • Expertise in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

  • Strong knowledge of Linux and VMware environments.

  • Proficiency in container technologies and orchestration with OpenShift.

  • Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, OpenShift CLI).

  • Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and related toolchains.

  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.

Experience:

  • Proven experience architecting and implementing OpenShift solutions.

  • Track record of managing high-availability and disaster recovery configurations.

  • Experience with enterprise security policies, monitoring, and compliance.

  • Previous involvement in cloud migration and containerization projects.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Relevant Red Hat certifications (e.g., Red Hat Certified Architect, Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift) preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
