Barbaricum is hiring a Senior Computer Engineer to support the development, integration, and sustainment of machinery lifecycle management applications for the U.S. Navy. This role will support full-stack application delivery, embedded system design, and data-driven decision environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of custom software applications in support of real-time and batch processing environments
• Build and maintain robust backend systems and responsive front-end interfaces
• Apply version control best practices to manage software releases and maintain code integrity
• Troubleshoot, evaluate, and optimize system performance across distributed environments
• Develop software in accordance with DoDAF standards and Navy enterprise architecture policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support end-to-end system delivery and sustainment

Qualifications:

• Active Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a CS focus
• 10+ years of experience in computer design, software development, or computer networks
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, Visual Basic, .NET, C#, JavaScript, Golang
• Familiarity with Git, CVS, SVN; experience with application troubleshooting and deployment
• Experience in lifecycle software design for Navy machinery and enterprise systems
