We are seeking an experienced gas engine Ford Transmission Technician to join our service team. Position Summary:

The Ford Transmission Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding Ford transmissions according to factory specifications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Ford vehicles, strong technical and diagnostic abilities, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and overhaul transmissions efficiently and accurately.
• Use Ford diagnostic tools such as IDS, FDRS, and PTS to troubleshoot transmission issues.
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and other technicians to ensure accurate repairs and customer satisfaction.
• Perform quality control checks and road tests to confirm repairs meet Ford standards.
• Stay current with Ford factory training and technical bulletins.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Ford Certified or Senior Master Certified in Transmission/Powertrain (preferred but not mandatory).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an automotive technician, with specific experience in Ford transmissions.
• Strong diagnostic skills with Ford diagnostic equipment and software.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to performing repairs correctly the first time.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen prior to employment.
