Job Details

• Position: Mental Health Coordinator
• Provide clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature in the facility
• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on records and clinical interviews with inmates
• Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans based on evaluation of needs and level of functioning
• Document treatment and evaluation activities in health care records
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques
• Provide mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to inmates

Job Requirements

• Five (5) years of clinical experience including two (2) years in a comparable job position
• Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related clinical area
• Must possess appropriate LPC, LCSW, or LMFT certification or licensing in the state where practice occurs
• Minimum age requirement: at least 18 years of age
