\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work in emergency department with varied schedule
\n• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients
\n• Must possess current, valid RN license in state of practice or compact RN licensure
\n• BLS certification required
\n• Minimum of one year experience in acute care hospital setting required
\n• Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area
\n• Bachelor's degree preferred
\n• Professional certification preferred
\n• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
\n• Review patient history and physical with patient/family
\n• Review diagnostics and laboratory data and report abnormal results to physicians
\n• Formulate and implement plan of care including discharge planning
\n• Provide direct patient care, coordinate care, and delegate appropriately
\n• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient record
\n• Participate in education and orientation of facility personnel
\n• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
\n• Requires adequate hearing, visual acuity, and fine motor skills
\n• Must use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids
