We are also home to a legendary rock magazine which is now being reimagined for the digital age as a streaming platform, print publication and live experience hub. Job Summary

Applicants must have entertainment experience and reside in Nashville TN.

We are looking for a dynamic Video Producer, Writer, Shooter and Editor to create high-impact video content across the Entertainment Group for web, mobile, social and OTT. You’ll be responsible for shooting live events, artist interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, music lifestyle shows, podcasts and more—then taking it through the full post-production process in-house. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong creative instincts, technical expertise, and a deep connection to the Sumerian entertainment culture. You must be able to move fluidly between production environments—from the energy of a concert to the intimacy of a sit-down interview—and bring stories to life with editing that’s sharp, cinematic, and aligned with Sumerian’s gritty, rock-driven aesthetic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with creative, marketing, and production teams to conceptualize and execute an ongoing slate of content.
  • Produce, write and shoot a variety of video content including events, performances, interviews, promos, lifestyle shows and more.
  • Edit content into fully finished pieces and shows.
  • Work with the Entertainment Group's Media Manager to organize footage, manage media, and handle post workflows from ingest to delivery.
  • Ensure content aligns with Sumerian tone, visual style, and storytelling goals.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience shooting and editing video in a fast-paced creative environment.
  • Skilled in camera operation (DSLRs, mirrorless, cinema cameras) and basic lighting/audio.
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Photoshop a plus).
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling, pacing, and music-driven content.
  • Passion for music, culture, and working in a bold, visually distinct style.
  • Currently resides in the Nashville Tennessee area.
