Job Description

Our client, a leading distribution organization, is seeking a Warehouse Picker Packer to join their team. As a Warehouse Picker Packer, you will be part of the Distribution Department supporting warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Picker Packer

Location: Mount Vernon, IL

Pay Range: $16 - $17/hour

Shift: Varies

What's the Job?

• Receiving, scanning, picking, packing, auditing, and shipping merchandise to customers
• Tracking all inbound and outbound items using radio frequency (RF) scanning to ensure inventory accuracy
• Verifying orders and entering data into the inventory management system
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment in the warehouse
• Ensuring quality standards are met according to warehouse management guidelines

What's Needed?

• Willingness to work flexible shifts
• Ability to stand for at least 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation
• Capability to perform tasks involving pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
