Job Description
Tundra Site Services is accepting resumes from Welders for Process Plant maintenance work in the Arctic.
Our clients have a variety of schedules, and we’re building a crew of welders that can help fill open positions on a casual basis, typically for 8 days per rotation. Top candidates will be notified when we have opportunities; dates will be shared to see if the scheduling may work out for all.
**Charter pick-up points are Yellowknife and Calgary**
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Journeyman Welder ticket.
· Experience working with millwrights in a mechanical capacity during shutdowns is an asset.
· Industrial, mining and process plant shutdown experience is an asset.
· Willingness to work indoors/outdoors, dayshift/nightshift and to travel/work in a remote camp environment.
· Ability to meet all prescreening requirements including medical, criminal record check and drug test.
· A strong commitment to site safety policy and procedures.
· Strong verifiable references from previous employers.
