1st Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6AM - 3PM; Friday, 6AM - 10AM

Essential Functions:

• Program, set up, and operate Wire EDM machines to produce components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and process instructions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD/CAM files, and GD&T requirements to ensure precision machining.
• Maintain process documentation in compliance with ISO13485 and GDP (Good Documentation Practices).
• Perform first-piece inspections, in-process checks, and final part verification using precision measuring equipment (micrometers, indicators, CMM, optical comparators, etc.).
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve technical issues, improve processes, and maintain conformity to requirements.
• Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
• Accurately record production data, deviations, and non-conformances per QMS requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with 5S principles and company safety policies.
• Cross-train and support other manufacturing processes as needed.
  

Competency:

• Strong knowledge of CAM software and CNC programming for EDM equipment.
• Familiarity with ISO13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, and medical device regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing specifications.
• Skilled in the use of precision inspection tools and measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Commitment to quality, patient safety, and continuous improvement.
  

Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED; Technical/Vocational Training in Machining preferred.

Experience:

3+ years of experience in Wire EDM Programming and operation, preferably in the medical device industry.
