JOB SUMMARY:

The CRM Intern will be playing a strategic dual role. They will be responsible for helping to coordinate and execute the day-to-day retention marketing planning and execution. They will also be supporting day-to-day activities for the relational email journey, direct mail channel and marketing SMS, and the end-to-end development & implementation of campaigns for North America.

Assist with executing our retention marketing strategy targeted to ultimately drive-up bottom-line engagement. (Including, email, sms, clientele, and direct mail).

The ideal candidate is creative with exceptional multi-tasking, project & time management, technical and analytical skills.  

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

RELATIONAL EMAIL
  • Work with the team to develop and implement email marketing strategies
  • Assist in the creation of monthly reports using different web analytics tools and provide insight/recommendations
  • Learn all about a variety of email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, tagging and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic content-driven campaigns
  • Perform Q/A for outgoing campaigns
  • Undertaking studies on competitor research and consumer behavior
SMS
  • Collaborate on calendar detailing campaigns and communications to support ecommerce and drive to store
  • Drafting proposals (customer acquisition / loyalty) for weekly and monthly sends
  • Assisting in preparing and presenting campaign results
  • Undertaking studies on competitor research and consumer behavior
DIRECT MAIL
  • Assist in the development of creative briefs based on key campaign objectives and business goals, positioning, and overall CRM strategy
  • Assist with weekly & monthly tracking, measurement, and performance analysis of Direct Mail campaigns
  • Report on relevant competitive trends (customer strategies, DM creative and branding, marketing & digital trends)

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:
  • BA / BSC in Marketing required / Masters preferred
EXPERIENCE:
  • BA / BSC required
  • A solid mix of analytical and creative skills
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint
  • Should be a self-starter/autonomous, able to multi-task/project management, work under pressure and prioritize
  • Performance driven with strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of ESP software and/or SMS provider preferred. (E.g., Responsys, Adobe Campaign, ExactTarget, or Silver Pop, Salesforce)
  • Customer loyalty/customer first approach
SKILLS:
