Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting day-to-day maintenance operations and upholding our commitment to quality move-ins and residential satisfaction. You will respond to service requests promptly and with professionalism, while maintaining the property to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare apartments for new residents (including painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and general repairs).
Perform scheduled maintenance tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Respond to resident work orders promptly and courteously.
Complete repairs in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of grounds, pools/hot tubs, dog park, and common areas.
Report maintenance issues in vacant units, common areas, and models.
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency maintenance.
Comply with all company safety procedures and maintain tools and equipment.
Deliver outstanding customer service and represent the company in a professional manner.
Attend training programs and stay informed on fair housing laws and property regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
General knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Must be able to work on-call shifts when required.
Must be knowledgeable in state, local, and federal fair housing laws.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous maintenance experience in property management is a plus.
