\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work a varied schedule in the Emergency Department
\n• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients according to organizational policies and professional nursing standards
\n• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
\n• Review patient history and physical with patient/family within appropriate timeframes
\n• Monitor diagnostics and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and caregivers
\n• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care including discharge planning
\n• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
\n• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
\n• Document all assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation activities in patient records
\n• Participate in education, orientation and mentoring of facility personnel and students
\n• Must possess current valid RN license in Colorado or compact RN licensure
\n• BLS certification required
\n• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
\n• Experience in acute care setting within past 12 months as Registered Nurse in specialty area required
\n• Bachelor's degree preferred
\n• Professional certification preferred
\n• Physical demands include ability to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to patient care needs
